DIXON — Peter J. Howe age 61 of Dixon passed away on Wednesday Dec. 13, 2023 at KSB Hospital in Dixon. He was born on July 30, 1962 in Aurora, IL the son of George and Julie (Horton) Howe. Peter worked as a refrigeration engineer for many years. He was a minister for Full Gospel Churches International in Rochelle, and a member of Zions Well in Dixon. Peter married Cathy Blanton on May 28 1983 at the Open Bible Church in Paw Paw, IL. He is preceded in death by his father George, brothers Clyde Howe, Daniel Howe, George Howe Jr, and mother in law Marilyn Blanton. Peter is survived by his wife Cathy, mother Julie Howe, father in law James Blanton, daughter Angela (Josh) Wade, Matthew (Patrica) Hood, Heather (Jason) Harris, two grandchildren Joshua (Jordan) Wade, Mariah Wade, and brothers Joseph Howe, Kevin (Lori) Miller, Steve Blanton and sister Patty Blanton. Cremation rites have been accorded. Services will be on Dec 30th at 1pm at Full Gospel Fellowship 11622 East Flagg Rd Rochelle IL. Arrangements by the Jones Funeral Home in Dixon.
