ROCHELLE — A Rochelle man, who was involved in a two-vehicle auto accident this past Sunday morning northwest of town, has died.
Donald Marsh, 59, Rochelle, was air-lifted to OSF Saint Anthony’s Hospital after the March 5 collision in critical condition.

Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the accident at Hemstock and Skare Road on Sunday morning at 10:04 a.m.
According to police, Marsh was traveling westbound on Hemstock Road and failed to yield the right of way. He was struck by another vehicle which was traveling northbound on Skare Road, driven by Thomas Reed, 36, of Rochelle.
Reed refused medical treatment; however, his three passengers were transported to Rochelle Community Hospital by Rochelle ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.
Sheriff’s deputies believe that Marsh possibly died from a medical condition and not injuries due to the accident. An autopsy is scheduled.
