ROCHELLE — The community-café that recently opened in Rochelle is awarding a lump sum scholarship of $500 or two scholarships of $250 to qualifying, graduating Rochelle Township High School seniors.
The award was created for seniors who will be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university during the Fall 2018 or Spring 2019 semester. Awards will be based upon community involvement, financial need, an essay and grade point average, according to the Vicki Snyder-Chura in the flagship edition of the Kitchen Table’s online newsletter.
