LASALLE — The Rochelle boys golf team took ninth place out of 10 schools in the IHSA Class 2A Regional at Senica's Oak Ridge Golf Club on Monday. The Hubs finished with 422 behind freshman Griffin Ohlinger's 97.
Ohlinger led Rochelle with 50 after the first half of the competition, while junior Reese Kirk added 52 and sophomore Shepard Hayes totaled 54. Kirk ended the day with 101 and Hayes had 111 for the Hubs, who finished the 2019 season with an overall record of 6-7 in dual matches.
