POLO — On 12-11-17 at 1545 hours The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene of a two-vehicle accident Monday at approximately 3:45 p.m. in Polo in the area of IL Route 26 and Edgewood Rd.
A 2013 Dodge sedan was traveling north on IL Route 26 when the vehicle lost control due to the snow-covered roadway. It then entered the southbound lane of traffic causing a 2008 GMC pickup truck driven by Dan Ditzler, 29, of Polo, to collide with the passenger side of the Dodge. The three occupants, a 27-year-old male, 26-year-old female, and 3-year-old female, were extricated from the Dodge and transported to KSB Hospital for serious injuries.
