On Jan. 14, Tracey Gobin, 56, of Leaf River, was arrested for failure to appear arrest warrant. Gobin has to pay $621 and will appear in court on Jan. 14 at 1 p.m. Gobin remains in the Ogle County Jail.
Jan. 15
On Jan. 15 at 8:43 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 39-mile marker 100 for a registration violation. Following a short investigation, deputies arrested Richard D. Cook, 36, of Lumberton, Texas, for driving while license suspended. Cook was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
On Jan. 15 at approximately 9:10 p.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Illinois Route 26 and Montague Road. After further investigation, Lauren Lapointe, 45, of Freeport, was placed under arrest for driving while license revoked. Lapointe was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
