Dear editor,

I am endorsing Chad Horner for Ogle County coroner.

We both graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in 1995.  I have professionally known Chad for close to three decades and am pleased to have Chad serve alongside me on the Advocacy Committee with the Illinois Funeral Directors Association.

I know Chad to always show exemplary integrity, compassion and leadership in the profession making him an ideal fit for the office of Ogle County coroner.  Chad values continuing education and being up to date on the best practices, a trait that has allowed him to provide a stellar quality of care to the families he serves.  

Chad’s dedication and history working as a local funeral director in his community and serving Ogle County for more than 30 years shows his devotion and steadfast commitment to the county, and Ogle County should be proud to have him as their 2024 Ogle County coroner.

Vote March 19 for Chad Horner.
