ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Lady Hub varsity bowling hosted its final Interstate 8 Conference home match of the season on Wednesday. Junior Cassidy Vincent fired a team-best 541 series as the Lady Hubs fell to LaSalle-Peru 3,357-2,606. Rochelle (9-5, 5-4 Interstate 8) will face Kaneland on the road Thursday to conclude the Interstate 8 schedule.
Three LaSalle-Peru bowlers eclipsed 200 during the opening game on Wednesday, which the Cavaliers claimed 1,153-860 behind a 237 from Makenzie Hamilton as well as a 216 from Camryn Perry and a 213 from Kamryn Oscepinski. Vincent led the Lady Hubs with a series-best 200 in the opening game, while senior Faith Adams fired a series-best 176 and sophomore Kylie McCullough rolled a series-best 153.
LaSalle-Peru took the second game 1,128-853 with Hamilton shooting a 215 and Olivia Weber adding a 206 for the Cavaliers. Anna Ricci added a 203 for the LaSalle-Peru side, while senior Anahi Alanis led the Rochelle side with a series-best 196. Vincent scored a 195 to lead the Lady Hubs in the third game, which LaSalle-Peru won 1,076-891 behind a series-best 253 from Hamilton, who totaled a match-best 705 series.
