Evans was also issued a citation for no front registration plate. The passenger, Adam Koehler, 35, of Dixon, was also placed under arrest on a Lee County failure to appear warrant. Evans and Koehler were both transported to the Ogle County Jail where they were held in lieu of bond.
On Oct. 24, Andrew Swift, 32, of Mt. Morris, was arrested on an outstanding failure to appear warrant. Swift did not post the $4,460 full cash bond and was scheduled to appear in court Oct. 25.
