KINGS — Kings School hosted the 2023-24 Meridian Conference Girls Basketball Championship tournament this past week. The Kings Comets defeated the St. Paul Lady Crusaders 29-21 in the final round to take home this season's championship.
The tournament began with the quarterfinal round, where the Eswood Lions took down the Creston Colts 24-14. In the semifinal round, Kings topped Eswood 50-20 and St. Paul scored a 34-14 win over the Steward Eagles.
