Woman arrested for criminal damage to property

On March 10 at approximately 10:28 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a disturbance in the 111 block of Main Street in Leaf River. After investigation, deputies placed Amber Gilbertson, 31, of Leaf River, under arrest for criminal damage to property under $500. Gilbertson was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
On March 12 the following were arrested for Ogle County Outstanding warrants:
Lorenzo Allen, 62, of Freeport, for Failure to Appear. Allen has a bond of $553 and could not post bond. Allen was scheduled to return to court on March 13.
Adriana Frieberg, 55, of Sterling, for aggravated identity theft. Frieberg had a bond of $5,000/10 percent. Frieberg did post bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Frieberg will return to court on April 6.
Angel Marquez-Martinez, 25, of Markham, for failure to appear. Marquez-Martinez had a bond of $381 and posted bond. Marquez-Martinez was released from the Ogle County jail and will not have to return for court.
March 13

On March 13 the following were arrested for Outstanding Ogle County warrant:
Donald R. Bowling, 43, of Freeport, for seven counts of burglary. Bowling has a bond of $50,000/10 percent. Bowling was scheduled to appear in court March 14.
Robert Bockman, 36, of DeKalb, for driving while license suspended. Bockman had a bond of $15,000/10 percent. Bockman did post the $15,000/10 percent bond and was released from the Ogle County Jail. Bockman will return for court on April 6.
March 14
On March 14 the following were arrested for outstanding Ogle County warrants:
Victoria L. Browder, 28, of LaSalle, for driving while license suspended. Browder did not post the $5,000/10 percent bond and remains in the Ogle County Jail. Browder was scheduled to appear in court March 15.
Clarence T. Shivers, 28, of Chicago, for failure to appear with a full cash bond of $820. Shivers was released on a Recognizance Bond and will appear in court on March 26.
On March 14 at approximately 3:40 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 100 block of S. Commercial Street in reference to a suspicious person who was last seen leaving the area in an older blue Chevy Blazer. While investigating the incident, the vehicle was located traveling northbound in the 12,000 block of N. Baileyville Road and a traffic stop was performed. After investigation, deputies placed Ronald Lund, 71, of Milton, Wis., under arrest for driving while license suspended. Lund was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
March 15
On March 15 at 12:37 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies conducted a traffic stop on a white Dodge van in the 15,000 block of E. IL Route 72 for a traffic violation. After an investigation, the driver, David Carey, 38, of Freeport, was arrested for driving while license suspended and a warrant for failure to appear. Carey was taken to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
On March 15 at 4:52 p.m., following a traffic stop at IL Route 72 and Limestone Rd., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Bruce Stahlheber, 58, of Rochelle, on outstanding arrest warrants from Lee County, Ogle County and the City of Rockford. He was also cited for unlawful possession of cannabis and illegal transportation of alcohol. Also arrested was Michael Uttecht, 34, of Steward, for an outstanding arrest warrant from DeKalb County and driving without a driver’s license. Uttecht was cited for no registration, no tail lights, no valid safety sticker and improper display of registration. Both were housed at the Ogle County Jail.
On March 15 at 10:15 p.m., Ogle County deputies responded to 8556 Verde Drive, Byron in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon further investigation, Price Davis, 26, of Byron, was arrested for disorderly conduct and was transported to the Ogle County Jail without incident where he remained in lieu of bond.
