ROCHELLE — A vendors and crafters quarter auction will be held on Thursday, May 2 in Rochelle and proceeds will benefit the Jennifer Underhill Hope Walk, which raising money and brings awareness to domestic violence.

The auction is being held at the Hickory Grove Banquet & Conference Center, located at 1127 N. 7th St. with more than 20 vendors on hand for the event which will begin at 6 p.m.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and attendees will purchase numbered paddles and each vendor will offer up auction items to be bid on with quarters and awarded in a number drawing.

Paddles cost $5 each or three for $10 and they will be used for the entire auction.

"This will be a fun unique event that guests will enjoy," said organizer Beth Kvool. "We will also have a cash bar, a 50/50 raffle and a chance to do some shopping from our vendors. Money raised will be donated to the Hope Walk, so bring your roll of quarters."

Kvool urged anyone with questions to call 815-979-2621.
