CRESTON — Timothy R. Swenson, 32, passed away Sunday, Sept. 16, 2018 at the Rochelle Community Hospital. Timothy was born on Dec. 12, 1985 in Dixon to William Swenson and Dawn (Seyster) Terry.
He was a true Bears fan and loved spending time with his family, especially his nephews. Timothy was a quiet man who spoke volumes without saying a word. He touched everyone he met and was loved by many.
Timothy is survived by his mother, Dawn (Kyle) Terry of Creston; father, William (Cheyanne) Swenson of Oregon; sister, Amber (Jeremy) Williams of Oregon; half brother, Eric (Darlene) Swenson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; step brother, Brian (Dora) Terry of Creston, and three nephews, Dylan Terry, Ryan Corson and Michael Swenson.
There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 21 at the Booster Hall/Creston Opera House in Creston with Chaplain Judy Williams officiating.
There will be a memorial gathering following the service from 12 to 3 p.m. at the hall.
