Local bowlers take home top league honors

ROCHELLE — T-Byrd Lanes hosted the 17th Annual Youth City Tournament over the weekend, with several local bowlers taking home top honors across several divisions of competition. 

Giuliana Henderson finished first in the U8 Girls Division with a 589 series score, while Camilla Ramos took second with a 536 series score. Landric Messer finished first in the U8 Boys Division with a 610 series score and Will Pritchett finished first out of three players in the U10 Boys Division with a 603 series score. Grayson Campbell took second and Jaxon Harnesk placed third in the U10 Boys Division with respective series scores of 598 and 581.

Kiera Hopp finished first in the U12 Girls Division with a 638 series score and Zachary Waddle finished first out of four players in the U12 Boys Division with a 581 series score. Landon Leigh took second with a 548 series score, while JJ Groves placed third and Sergio Ramos finished fourth with respective series scores of 522 and 465. Kylie McCullough finished first in the U15 Girls Division with a 666 series score and Chloe Rodriguez took second with a 624 series score.

Brock Yarbrough finished first out of six players in the U15 Boys Division with a 751 series score. Jaxon Breit took second with a 681 series score, while Dylan Aguirre and Josh Moser placed third and fourth with respective scores of 626 and 625. Sam Tracey finished first in the U18 Boys Division with a tournament-best 842 series score, while Logan Frye took second with a 774 series score and Jonathan Alanis placed third with a 652 series score.
