STILLMAN VALLEY — On Jan. 7 at approximately 3 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s detectives arrested Ross A. Ellis, 28, of Stillman Valley, on two counts of criminal sexual assault — both are Class 1 felonies.
The arrest stems from an investigation which began on Jan. 5 where Ellis is alleged to have had sexual contact with two minors in the Stillman Valley area.
Ellis was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held without bond. On Jan. 8, Ellis appeared in Ogle County Court where he received a $10,000 recognizance bond.
