OGLE COUNTY — Lou Vergil Robinson, 74, of Hermitage, Tennessee, was stopped by Illinois State Police for a motor carrier safety inspection on Jan. 8 at 10:53 a.m. on Interstate 39 southbound at milepost 99 in Ogle County and charged with operating without no USDOT authority, improper use of registration, no record of duty status, and overweight on registration.
Robinson and the vehicle were placed out of service. Robinson was released on an I-bond.
