Round up to support the RACF at Liquor ‘n’ Wine

ROCHELLE – The Rochelle Area Community Foundation (RACF) has partnered with Liquor ‘n’ Wine, located at 1140 N. 7th St., on a new and creative way to give back to the community. Customers can round their change up to the next dollar in support of the RACF Endowment Fund. The process is simple. Shop at Liquor ‘n’ Wine and when you check out, just tell the cashier you would like to round up to the next dollar in support of the Rochelle Area Community Foundation. Your change will go into a fund that is tallied every month and donated to RACF. So far almost $300 has been collected!
Manish Patel, owner of Liquor ‘n’ Wine, said “I appreciate the Rochelle community and we are always looking for a way to show our gratitude and support. The Rochelle Area Community Foundation Endowment gives back to many local nonprofits through their Community Need Grants. This made for a natural collaboration between us.”
Emily Anaya, RACF executive director, stated, “We are privileged to work with businesses such as Liquor ‘n’ Wine. They see the need in our community and offer unique ways for people to give. It’s an opportunity for all of us to support the community in a way that is simple and easy just by rounding up your change. Every donation is significant, no matter how big or small. When put all together small change can have a huge impact. I hope many of you will shop at Liquor ‘n’ Wine for your upcoming holiday gatherings and make sure you round up!”
