Rochelle police issue several speeding citations

On Sept. 8 at 10:37 p.m., Rochelle police cited Lunda Bulolo, 25, of Rockford, for speeding 47 m.p.h. in a 30 m.p.h. zone. She posted a promise to comply and received an Oct. 23 court date.

On Sept. 9 at 9:19 a.m., Rochelle police cited Alvaro E. Mireles III, 32, of Rochelle, for no insurance. He posted a promise to comply and received an Oct. 23 court date.

On Sept. 10 at 9:40 a.m., Rochelle police arrested Christopher Messer, 38, of Rochelle, for driving while license suspended and operation of a vehicle with suspended registration. He posted an I-bond and received an Oct. 23 court date.

On Sept. 10 at 4:28 p.m., Rochelle police arrested Kayla Martin, 28, of Rochelle, on an Ogle County warrant. She posted a recognizance bond and received a Nov. 30 court date.

On Sept. 10 at 4:31 p.m., Rochelle police arrested Jeremy Phillips, 30, of Rochelle, on three Ogle County warrants. He was transported to jail.

On Sept. 10 at 11:57 a.m., Rochelle police cited Jimmie Freeman, 72, of Malta, for disobeying a traffic control device. He posted a promise to comply and received an Oct. 23 court date.

On Sept. 11 at 12:33 p.m., Rochelle police arrested Jeremy Trantham, 42, of Canton, North Carolina, for no valid driver’s license and a North Carolina Department of Corrections warrant. He was transported to jail.

On Sept. 11 at 7:37 p.m., Rochelle police cited Rashaun Mctizic, 26, of Oregon, for no insurance and speeding 50 m.p.h. in a 30 m.p.h. zone. He posted a promise to comply and received an Oct. 23 court date.

On Sept. 11 at 12:45 a.m., Rochelle police arrested Matthew Bearrows, 40, of Rochelle, for two counts of aggravated battery to a police officer, obstructing a police officer and leaving the scene of an accident. He was transported to jail.

On Sept. 12 at 10:53 a.m., Rochelle police arrested Patrick Larson, 20, of Rochelle, on an Ogle County warrant. He was transported to jail.

On Sept. 12 at 9:31 p.m., Rochelle police arrested Victor Mascorro Fregoso, 62, of Rochelle, for no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He posted an I-bond and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 23.

On Sept. 13 at 12:12 p.m., Rochelle police cited Shirley Davis, 82, of Sycamore, for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. She posted a promise to comply and received an Oct. 23 court date.

On Sept. 13 at 7:31 p.m., Rochelle police arrested Nayeli Nichole Calderon, 18, of Rochelle, for retail theft. She posted an I-bond and received an Oct. 23 court date.

On Sept. 14 at 11:32 a.m., Rochelle police arrested Joshua Bevans, 41, of Paw Paw, for driving while license suspended, speeding 55 m.p.h. in a 40 m.p.h. zone and possession of cannabis. He posted an I-bond and received an Oct. 23 court date.

On Sept. 15 at 2:11 p.m., Rochelle police cited Michael Brandstedter, 34, of DeKalb, for speeding 50 m.p.h. in a 30 m.p.h. zone. He posted a promise to comply and received an Oct. 23 court date.

On Sept. 17 at 2:36 a.m., Rochelle police cited Mabel Sanchez, 58, of Rockford, for speeding 65 m.p.h. in a 45 m.p.h. zone. She posted a promise to comply and received an Oct. 23 court date.

On Sept. 17 at 9:22 a.m., Rochelle police arrested Alex Gonzalez, 25, of Rochelle, on an Ogle County warrant. He posted $266 bond and was released.

On Sept. 17 at 5:50 a.m., Rochelle police cited Kevin Mccuthcan, 24, of Cambridge, for failure to reduce speed. He posted a promise to comply and received an Oct. 23 court date.

On Sept. 17 at 10:16 p.m., Rochelle police arrested Tyler Hager, 24, of Rochelle, on two counts DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He posted $100 bond and received an Oct. 23 court date.
