ROCHELLE — An event for Rochelle residents new and old is scheduled to take place Saturday, July 24.
“Reconnecting in Rochelle” will take place at VFW Park at 915 S. Main St. from noon to 4 p.m.The event will include food, games, special guests including Rochelle Mayor John Bearrows and surprises.
The event and a committee came to be after conversations among a Facebook group. There will be information packets for new residents.
Attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs and RSVP for the event. To RSVP, visit the Rochelle, IL Friends and Neighbors Facebook page and press events near the top of the page.
