OPINION: Writer asks for help with CASA program

Posted

Dear Editor,
Looking to make a difference in your local community that has a positive impact on behalf of children in need? Consider donating your time and/or money to the CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) program, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization.
Unfortunately, the number of children who need assistance due to abuse or neglect continues to increase. When you make a financial contribution, you are helping train and support volunteer advocates who protect the best interests of children who have been abused or neglected.

These individuals work tirelessly on the behalf of children in the Ogle, Lee and Carrol counties. Your involvement could light the darkness for a child. Please consider becoming involved by either volunteering or making a financial contribution and make 2019 a better year for children that need your help.
For more information contact CASA executive director Trisha Morrow at 815-222-6780 or visit www.casa15thdistrict.org.
