ROCHELLE — The Board of Trustees at Rochelle Community Hospital has named Gregg Olson as its new Chief Executive Officer beginning January 2020.
Olson brings 38 years of leadership experience to RCH, most recently in Medford, Wisconsin.
Olson is not new to RCH as he served as Chief Executive Officer for eight years from November 1999 to October 2007. During that time, Olson implemented the Critical Access Hospital program which financially strengthened the hospital, oversaw a capital campaign project which added space and renovated outdated areas, upgraded health care technology, opened the Urgent Care clinic now known as Convenient Care and established the Multi-Specialty Clinic bringing more specialists to the community.
“We are pleased with our decision to hire Gregg as the CEO. He is a good choice for our hospital and our community. We look forward to working with him,” said Noah Carmichael, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for RCH.
