Ogle County Sheriff’s Report: Oct. 10

On Oct. 10 at approximately 11:05 p.m. deputies performed a traffic stop at the intersection of Mulford Road and Lind Road after the vehicle was called in as a driving complaint. After investigation, deputies placed Derek Jarvis, 35, of Rochelle under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol. Jarvis was additionally issued a citation for improper lane usage. Jarvis was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.

Ogle County Sheriff’s Report: Oct. 10

OREGON — On Oct. 10 at approximately 11:05 p.m. deputies performed a traffic stop at the intersection of Mulford Road and Lind Road after the vehicle was called in as a driving complaint. After investigation, deputies placed Derek Jarvis, 35, of Rochelle under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol. Jarvis was additionally issued a citation for improper lane usage. Jarvis was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.  

On Oct. 10 at approximately 7:53 p.m. deputies came upon a single vehicle accident with no injuries at the intersection of Illinois Route 251 and Illinois Route 72. After a short investigation, deputies placed Paul Chareun, 64, of Crest Hill, Illinois under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol. Chareun was additionally issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. Chareun was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.  

On Oct. 10 deputies arrested Wayne Master, 47, of New Lenox, Illinois for driving while license suspended. Master was arrested by deputies on Interstate 39 near Illinois Route 64 after being stopped for speeding. Master was released on a I-Bond and will appear in Ogle County court at a later date. 

On Oct. 10 at approximately 8:59 p.m. deputies responded to a vehicle stuck in the ditch in the 4,000 block of East Countryview Drive. After investigation, deputies placed Pauly Rico, 21, of Byron under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol. Rico was additionally issued citations for too fast for conditions and operating an uninsured vehicle. Rico was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
