On March 27 at 11:20 p.m., Ogle County Sheriff Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 12,000 block of North Tower Road. After an investigation, deputies arrested Michael R. Molnar, 18, Byron, for driving while license suspended. Molnar was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
Molnar was also cited for operating uninsured motor vehicle and given in written warning for improper traffic lane usage.
On March 28 at 6:24 p.m., deputies initiated a traffic stop at the 5,000 block of West Pines Road in Oregon. Upon Further investigation, deputies arrested Thomas Davis, 61, Polo, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Thomas was transported to the Ogle County Jail in Oregon. Davis also received citations for improper lane usage and operating a communications device while driving.
