OREGON — On Jan. 6 at 1:44 p.m., the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, Byron Police Department, Byron Fire Department and the Byron ambulance responded to a motorcycle accident with injuries in the 7,000 block of North River Road. A black Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Ernest B. Miller, 30, of Mount Morris, was southbound on River Road along with a red Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle driven by James D. Emery, 35, of Leaf River. Both motorcycles then attempted to pass a car traveling southbound. The Harley Davidson lost control traveling southbound. The Harley Davidson lost control crossing over the roadway and entered the west side ditch rolling over. Miller was transported to Rockford Memorial Hospital by the Byron ambulance with multiple injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
Jan. 3
On Jan. 3 at approximately 8:25 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies performed a traffic stop in the 8000 block of East Wildwood Road. After investigation, deputies placed Gonzalo Munoz-Garcia under arrest for no valid driver’s license. Munoz-Garcia was also issued citations for improper display of registration and operating an uninsured vehicle. Munoz-Garcia was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
Jan. 5
On Jan. 5 at approximately 1:15 a.m., deputies responded to 1105 Santa Fe Avenue in Davis Junction for the report of a domestic disturbance. After a short investigation, Jessica Winn 31, was arrested for disorderly conduct. Winn was transported to the Ogle County Jail where she was held in lieu of bond.
On Jan. 5, Timothy McCoullough, 25, of Dixon, was arrested for failure to appear. McCoullough was given a bond of $842. McCoullough was scheduled to appear in court Jan. 7 and remained in the Ogle County Jail pending the court appearance.
Jan. 6
On Jan. 6, the following people were arrested for Ogle County outstanding warrants:
Dewayne Harbach, 67, of Rockford, for failure to appear. Harbach has a bond of $823.79. Harbach was scheduled to appear in court Jan. 7. Harbach remained in the Ogle County Jail pending a court appearance.
Taunya Hollis-Jared, 47, of Rockford, for failure to appear. Hollis-Jarred has a bond of $1,329. Hollis-Jared was scheduled to appear in court Jan. 7. Hollis-Jared remained in the Ogle County Jail pending a court appearance.
Edward Hutchinson, 47, of Rockford, for failure to appear. Hutchinson has a bond of $531. Hutchinson was scheduled to appear in court Jan. 7. Hutchinson remained in the Ogle County Jail pending a court appearance.
Amber Anders, 26, of Rochelle, for Ogle County Drug Court sanctions. Anders has a bond of $25,000/10 percent applies. Anders was scheduled to appear in court Jan. 7.
