Medical incident leads to accident

On Oct. 21 at 11:48 a.m., the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, the Leaf River Fire Department and the Leaf River Ambulance responded to a one vehicle accident with injuries in the 2,000 block of Illinois Route 72. A black GMC Envoy driven by Tracey E. Reeder, 53, of Mount Morris, was eastbound on Illinois Route 72 when he left the right side of the road striking an embankment then crossing over the road and coming to a stop in the north side ditch. Reeder was transported to SwedishAmerican Hospital by Leaf River Ambulance after suffering from an unknown medical condition. The accident remains under investigation.

On Oct. 23, Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies arrested the following people on Ogle County outstanding warrants: 

Ruben Garza, 58, of Rock Falls, for resisting a peace officer warrant. Garza had a bond of $5,000/10 percent and was able to post bond. Garza was released from the Ogle County jail and will return to court on Nov. 20.

Cynthia L. Tillmon, 51, of Chicago, for DUI drugs warrant. Tillmon had a bond of $3,000/10 percent and was able to post bond. Tillmon was released from the Ogle County Jail and will return to court on Nov. 20.
