ROCHELLE — Area families are encouraged to come out and enjoy some delicious pancakes and also support the Kiwanis Golden K on Saturday, Feb. 9 from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event will be held at Rochelle United Methodist Church's Hicks Hall, located at the corner of Fourth Avenue and Seventh Street.
Pancakes, sausage, fruit cocktail, juice, milk and coffee will be served for just $7 per person, while children under age 10 eat free. Carry outs are also available.
The Rochelle Township High School Key Club will also be holding a bake sale fundraiser throughout the day. Proceeds from the Pancake Day help the local Golden K club support more than 20 local youth organizations.
Tickets may be purchased in advance from any Golden K Kiwanis members in advance or at the door.
