The Lady Hubs placed ninth out of 10 schools with a final score of 4,480 and freshman Alyssa Mickley recorded a team-high series of 923 pins over six games to take 31st out of 61 total players.

DEKALB — The Rochelle varsity girls bowling team battled in the Northern Illinois Big 12 Conference Championship at Mardi Gras Lanes on Friday. The Lady Hubs placed ninth out of 10 schools with a final score of 4,480 and freshman Alyssa Mickley recorded a team-high series of 923 pins over six games to take 31st out of 61 total players.
Rochelle began in ninth place with 632 pins in the first game before totaling 796 pins in the second game and 785 pins over the third game for a 2,213 series. The Lady Hubs kicked off the second half of competition with 777 pins in the fourth game before rolling over 796 pins in the fifth game and closing out with 694 pins in the sixth game.
Freshman Alyssa Schwanert placed 32nd overall with a total of 913 pins, while senior Autumn Headon finished 38th with 858 pins. Junior Cassie Moore knocked down 589 pins for 54th place, and senior Aubrey Headon placed 55th with 533 pins.
