MORRIS — The Rochelle varsity girls bowling team finished 18th out of 20 schools in the Morris Invitational at Echo Lanes on Saturday. The Lady Hubs knocked down 3,531 pins, with freshman Alyssa Mickley leading the way with 994 pins over six games.
Rochelle totaled 604 pins in the first game, with Mickley shooting 175 and senior Autumn Headon adding 151. The Lady Hubs recorded 553 in the second game behind Mickley’s 157 and Headon’s 146. Headon shot 155 to lead Rochelle to 534 pins in the third game.
The Lady Hubs knocked down 560 pins in the fourth game behind Mickley’s 148. Mickley bowled 198 in the fifth game, with junior Cassie Moore rolling 146 to help Rochelle total 679 pins. The Lady Hubs totaled 601 pins in the sixth game with Mickley shooting 186 and Moore recording 135.
