ROCHELLE –– Books, Books get your books. Typically when a patron goes to the library for a book they are expected to return the book within a few weeks. However, Flagg Rochelle Public Library will host a book sale where patrons can purchase books with no obligation to return.
The book sale will begin Saturday, Aug. 19 at 10 a.m. and continue through Saturday, Aug. 26.
Adult fiction, non-fiction, music CD’s, DVD’s, paperbacks and some children’s materials will be available during the sale.

“We have a nice selection of books and media. The materials are clean and in good shape,” stated library director Sarah Flanagan.
The library is accepting book donations for the sale and will continue to through Friday, Aug. 18 at noon.
Flanagan encourages shoppers to come to the sale early for the best selection. Proceeds from the sale will be used to update the library collection.
Books are priced at $1 for hardcover, $0.25 for paperbacks, and music CDs and DVDs are $1.
Flanagan added, “Ms. Connie and I are looking forward our Annual Book Sale Event.  We are excited to welcome all community members to our Library.”
