Dec. 1 performance includes four-course meal, silent auction and radio play

ROCHELLE — Tickets are now on sale for Vince Carney Community Theatre's 2018 Winter Gala fundraising event featuring "Miracle on 34th Street: A Radio Play," cocktails, a four-course meal and a silent auction.

This one-night only event will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1 at Salt 251 restaurant in Rochelle at the Fairways Golf Course, starting at 5 p.m.

This holiday season help VCCT raise money to renovate the old Lincoln School into its new home by attending this holiday gala.

Guests will enjoy a four-course meal of Mrs. Klaus' favorite cream of potato soup, Kris Kringle salad, and a main course choice of Frosty's white fish, Santa's favorite main dish of pork loin or Rudolph's vegetarian plate. Various chocolates, cheese cakes, cookies and more will be on the menu for dessert.

"A Miracle on 34th Street: A Radio Play" is directed by Kimberly Ekes and will no doubt delight guests.

Before the show and during intermission, attendees will have an opportunity to bid on more than two dozen items donated to the silent auction.

Tickets are $75 each and are available on the VCCT website http://www.vcctrochelle.org and must be purchased no later than midnight on Nov. 25.

All proceeds for this event will be used for upgrades at the group's new venue, located at the old Lincoln School at South Main Street and First Avenue.
