TRENTON, Fla. — Eleanor K. Gilyard of Trenton, Fla., passed away on May 7, 2018 in Gainesville, Fla., at Haven Hospice.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 8 at 2 p.m. at Haven Hospice Chapel located at 4200 N.W. 90th Blvd., Gainesville, Fla., with Alan Taylor, Hospice Chaplain, officiating.  
Eleanor was born in Rochelle to Lorraine L. Kehm and Harold E. Kehm on July 4, 1941. She went to school at Rochelle Township High School in Rochelle. She married Douglas E. Duke, Sr. on June 18, 2008 in Nahunta, Ga.  
Eleanor had many occupations in her life including Taxidermy artist detailing work, 30 years with Nationwide Insurance, management with Long John Silver’s, and during retirement breeding and raising goats.
Eleanor is preceded in death by Harold E. Kehm (father); Lorraine L. Cote (mother); and Gary P. Kehm (brother).
Eleanor is survived by Douglas E. Duke, Sr. (husband); Janice (Michael) Ashmore (daughter); Kimberly (Jay) Erickson (daughter); DJ (Jennifer) Duke (stepson); Summer (Jody) Pridgen (stepdaughter); Joanne K. Eckhardt (sister); Bertrand Cote (stepfather); Virginia Cartier (aunt); and Pierce, Jessica, Kyle, Kieley, Kearsten (grandchildren).
