MESA, Ariz. — Deloris (Dee) I. Schaneberg, 83, of Mesa, Arizona, formerly of Ashton, died Aug. 3, 2018, surrounded by family, at Mountain Vista Hospital in Mesa, Arizona, after complications from lung cancer.
Deloris was born Oct. 8, 1934 in Malta, to William A. and Alta F. (Shrum) Purvis. She married Robert (Bob) Schaneberg on March 23, 1957.
Survivors include daughter, Alta (Jim) Johnson of Mesa, Arizona; son, Doug (Christel) Schaneberg of Phoenix, Arizona; four sisters, Juanita Williams of Franklin Grove; Veneta (Jack) Campbell of Stevens Point, Wisconsin; Betty Walsh of Mountain View, Arkansas; Doris (Allen) Gittleson of Steward; and two grandchildren, Drake (Paisha) Schaneberg of Pasadena, California, and Kailey Schaneberg of Nashville, Tennessee.
In addition to her husband; her parents, one brother, William, and one nephew, Jimmy Campbell, predeceased her.
A one-hour visitation will be held 10 am Saturday, Sept. 29, at Hickory Grove Banquet and Conference Center, Rochelle. A short Celebration of Life service will be held immediately following at 11 a.m.
