MAPLE PARK — The Rochelle varsity boys and girls cross country teams competed at Kaneland High School’s Eddington Invitational on Saturday, with the Lady Hubs finishing 13th out of 15 schools and the Hubs taking 18th out of 18 schools.
Senior Katherine Bakken led the Lady Hubs on Saturday, finishing 15th out of 128 runners with a time of 19:30.3. Junior Britney Baez placed 55th with a time of 21:30.1 while senior Anne Hickey (93rd in 23:24.9) and senior Camryn Turner (118th in 26:34.9) rounded out Rochelle’s top four girls on the afternoon.
Junior Santi Cordoba finished 105th out of 153 runners with a time of 18:30.8 to lead all Rochelle boys on Saturday. Junior Tucker Louis placed 116th with a time of 18:44.9 while senior Connor Lenkaitis (142nd in 21:19.5) and junior Parker Hale (143rd in 21:21.2) rounded out the top four Hub runners.
Rochelle’s teams will battle in the Byron Invitational on Wednesday at 4:15 p.m.
