Couple wins Kubota vehicle in Johnson Tractor contest

Posted

ROCHELLE – Johnson Tractor in Rochelle and Kubota gave away a brand new utility terrain vehicle to one lucky winner on Wednesday.

Kubota is a company that offers a variety of different sized machinery from large construction tools to smaller equipment. Each year the company hosts an annual field day ride and drive event at their many different locations throughout the country. These events include things such as food, giveaways and a contest for a chance to win a UTV.
Anyone who attended one of the dealer field events was registered into the raffle and there were five winners picked from the entire country.

This was the only winner chosen out of all the dealer events in the Midwest.
“There were between 5,000 and 8,000 other people who were registered in the Midwest region of the contest,” explained Jason Page, Kubota regional sales manager.
The winners of the UTV are husband and wife, Josh and Leslie Davidson, and they said they were very shocked when they found out that they had won. They were not expecting anything to come of it when they showed up to the event and registered for the contest via text.
But now that they are the official owners they are excited to take it back and drive it around their land.
“We have about an acre of land and four kids at home so they are excited, and we were about the last people around to not own one,” said Josh Davidson. “We would like to give a big thank you to both Johnson Tractor and Kubota for hosting for putting on their contest.”
