On Tuesday, Ogle County Health Department officials released its daily COVID-19 positivity case, recovery case and death case numbers.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Ogle County has 54 current positive cases. Overall, the county has reported 595 total positive cases, 535 recovered cases and six deaths related to the virus.
The sixth death was reported on Tuesday as well and according to health department officials, the death was a woman in her 70s.
