DEKALB — St. Paul Episcopal Church in DeKalb will be celebrating its 51st annual lobster boil on Saturday, May 18.
The lobsters will arrive at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in DeKalb on Saturday, May 18, after being directly trucked from the chilly waters of New England. Lobsters are cooked and buyers can pick their choice and take them home.
These delicious delicacies can be ordered now through Monday, May 13, at www.stpaulsdekalb.org, or by visiting www.facebook.com/St-PaulsLobsterBoil . Order forms may also be obtained by calling the Lobster Line at 815-756-4888, or by stopping by St. Paul Church where forms will be available in the “Lobster Mailbox” next to the back door.
Live lobsters sell for $18, which will be available for pickup at 4 p.m. at the church on Saturday, May 18. Cooked lobsters sell for $20, and may be picked up at either 5, 6 or 7 p.m.
Proceeds help five LOCAL charities: Safe Passage, Children’s Waiting Room in the Courthouse, Family Service Agency, Voluntary Action Center and Hope Haven.
Orders for lobsters will be taken through Monday, May 14. St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is located at 900 Normal Road in DeKalb.
