Lynn-Scott-Rock fire and ambulance were called to the scene of a semi versus automobile accident at 1:38 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11. The driver of the automobile, Steven Nosko, 56, of Byron, was traveling northbound on I-39 when he struck a semi from behind driven by Jimmy Johnson, 51, of Chicago. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident. Nosko was taken to SwedishAmerican Hospital in Rockford for treatment of minor injuries. No citations were issued. The Ogle County Sheriff’s Department assisted.
