GENESEO — The Rochelle varsity boys tennis team fell against Geneseo on the road Tuesday evening, losing by a score of 5-0 to drop to 0-7 on the season.
Junior Sean Flanagan faced Griffin Tracey at No. 1 singles, falling 1-6, 0-6. Freshman Jason Zheng played a close first set with Danny Ford at No. 2 singles, falling 5-7, 0-6. Seniors Hector Garcia and Emilio Nava took three points from Ryan Morgan and Luke Chaney at No. 1 doubles, falling 2-6, 1-6.
Junior Gabe Nava and senior Diego Lopez were swept 0-6, 0-6 by Thomas Robinson and Mason Smith at No. 2 doubles. Senior Alex Galambos and junior Alexis Quintanilla managed two games against Josh Beeth and Carter Stephenson, losing 1-6, 1-6.

The Rochelle junior varsity team played four matches with Geneseo, going 0-4 overall. Junior Saul Alanis lost 2-8 at No. 1 singles, and seniors Caden Manning and Gage Sullivan fell 2-8, 0-8 at No. 1 doubles. Freshmen Alex Gilbert and Peter Forsberg lost 4-8, 6-8 at No. 2 doubles and freshman Devansh Patel and junior Carlos Nambo fell 1-8, 1-8 at No. 3 doubles
