MORRIS — The Rochelle varsity boys tennis team will need another attempt at its first victory of the season after falling against Morris by a score of 5-0 on Tuesday to drop to 0-12 overall.
Junior Sean Flanagan took four games in a 3-6, 1-6 loss to Eli Davy at No. 1 singles, while freshman Jason Zheng earned one game in a 1-6, 0-6 loss against Nolan Robbins at No. 2 singles. Seniors Hector Garcia and Emilio Nava managed three games in their 2-6, 1-6 loss to Matt Grant and Brandon Weitzel at No. 1 doubles.
Seniors Alex Galambos and Diego Lopez went three sets against Ben Doss and Patrick McPherson at No. 2 doubles, losing 1-6, 6-2, 1-6. Senior Caden Manning and junior Gabe Nava took one game in a 0-6, 1-6 loss to Eric Echevarria and Mitch Mayberry at No. 3 doubles
