ROCHELLE — A bench was dedicated to former Advisor Danae White from the Rochelle Township High School Key Club Tuesday morning.
Advisor Joe Howard, Golden K Advisors Dennis Swinton & John Gruben plus club members trekked out north of the water tower where the bench was installed on the bike path. These benches are made from the recycled bottle caps that Key Club and the Kings Comets collect. Madison Ost is KC President.
“Honestly, so many other people or classes should have received this dedication,” White said. “I remember when we started this project and I am truly blessed to have been a part of such an amazing group for so long! I’m humbled by this kind gesture. I will walk on the bike path and take a break on this bench each time to reflect on the beautiful people I have met along the way in Key Club and Kiwanis!”
