OREGON — The Ogle County Sheriff's Office will be conducting an active school shooting drill in coordination with Ogle-Lee Fire Protection District, Rochelle Fire Department, Ogle County Emergency Management and Kings Consolidated School District 144 on Saturday, July 21 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Kings School, 100 First St., Kings.
Residents will see a significant law enforcement and fire/EMS presence during this time. Residents are reminded this is an exercise and not an actual event. Only participants and evaluators will be allowed on school grounds during this time.
