On May 21 at 3:18 p.m., the Ogle County Sheriff’s office, Lynn-Scott-Rock Fire Department and Rochelle Fire Department ambulance responded to a two-vehicle injury crash at IL Route 64 and Moore Rd. Investigation by deputies revealed that a westbound Chevrolet Aveo driven by Florence Smith, 61, of Kings, had stopped waiting to turn left onto Moore Rd. when it was rear ended by a westbound Mazda 3 driven by Kyle Koziol, 28, of Davis Junction. Smith was transported by LSR ambulance to Rochelle Community Hospital for treatment of her injuries. A juvenile passenger in Smith’s vehicle was transported by Rochelle Ambulance to Rockford Memorial Hospital with significant injuries.
