ROCHELLE — The Ogle County Chapter of 100 Women Who Care donates quarterly to a 501c3 charity in Ogle County. Charities are nominated and voted on by the membership.

They recently presented their spring contribution to The Kitchen Table in Rochelle.

The Kitchen Table is a donation and volunteer-based community restaurant for all.

Their motto is “pay what you can — a donation fair to your budget or pay with your time and pay it forward.”

The Kitchen Table strives to change the way we all interact with one another and our food. They use local foods as they can. They also receive lots of donated produce during the growing season and pass that along to customers. They are doing their part to help alleviate food insecurities among our communities.

They believe that treating everyone with dignity and respect helps to create a more sustainable community.

They work to provide a hot, nutritious delicious meal to one and all regardless of means to pay. Volunteers are always needed. Contact them at www.kitchentablerochelle.org or check out their Facebook at www.facebook.com/kitchentablerochelle.
