Lincoln Highway Model A at AOP

Posted: Friday, Sep 27th, 2013

OREGON ó The historic H. I. Lincoln Building that serves as the National HQ for the Lincoln Highway Association and Farming Heritage, Inc. have combined to once again offer a unique antique car to a lucky raffle winner.

Appearing at Autumn on Parade the 1930 Model A Ford two-door sedan, in addition to a very complete restoration, has received some innovative modern features. Overall the car is better than the day it rolled off of Henry Fordís assembly line. For electrical dependability it has a 12 volt electrical system supplied by a modern alternator. Also the driveline is enhanced with a 5-speed synchromesh transmission, an efficient luxury unknown in 1930.
