Leaving a legacy: Hand in Hand mission owner to leave Rochelle

ROCHELLE—Ten years ago, husband and wife Blanca and Bob Winton took a chance on the Rochelle community when they opened a non-profit ministry with the sole purpose of giving people in need some basics and a little help to turn things around in their lives.

Hand in Hand Community Service is a faith-based, non-profit organization that is dedicated to meeting the needs of individuals in our community regardless of religious affiliation, race, nationality, or background. Hand in Hand serves those in need with a caring heart, extended love and a helping hand.

For the past decade now, the organization has held a myriad of services for the community, some of which including groceries, support groups, information services and catering to peoples’ other physical and emotional needs.
