BYRON — A Byron teenager suffered non life-threatening injuries after the car he was driving was struck by a train on Thursday.
According to Ogle County Sheriff’s deputies, Chase D. Stoddard, 19, of Byron was transported to SwedishAmerican Hospital by ambulance for treatment of his injuries Thursday morning.
On June 27, at 10:34 a.m., Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with the Byron Fire Department and Stillman Valley Ambulance responded to the railroad crossing in the 8000 block of North Mill Road for a car versus train accident.
