STERLING — Tuesday’s loss to Sterling was two steps forward, one step backwards for the Lady Hubs according to their head coach, Bruce Anderson.
“I saw a lot of really good things on Tuesday,” he said. “But I also saw some things that we still need to work a little harder at.”
Anderson said he saw good times, and he is starting to see the desire athletes need to have to excel on Tuesday, but the small things are starting to hold the Lady Hubs back.
There is a lot that goes into preparing for a race. Whether that is warming up or preparing mentally for the race itself,” Anderson said. “Part of my job as a coach is trying to teach that. We are going to spend a lot of time on that in the near future.”For the complete article see the 04-21-2013 issue.
