ROCHELLE — The Minor League field was almost completely submerged Thursday afternoon after Wednesday’s torrential downpour, but before the storm, the first two games of the season were played and the second one was played through to the end.

In the first Minor League game of the season, C&C Plumbing started the game getting off to a 4-1 lead.
Lightening at the close of the third inning sent the boys to their dugouts and eventually home, as both teams agreed to resume the game at a later, less rainy date.
