ROCHELLE — According to information released from City of Rochelle Clerk Bruce McKinney, Rochelle is beginning to see the financial benefits of video gambling.
Several businesses in town have installed video gambling machines since late last year and that means more revenue for the City of Rochelle.
Documents show that two local businesses installed the gaming machines last November, bringing in an additional $1,176 profit for the city. Last month a total of four businesses with the machines brought in $4,638 for the city.
