Center needs help ‘paving the way’

THE Rochelle Child Care Center serves nearly125 children each day and the high traffic volume of kids entering the door and traffic in the parking lot is showing signs of wear and tear.

Beacause of this, the center is looking to replace the existing parking lot.

“This summer, most likely in June, the Rochelle Child Care Center is looking to replace the front lot and make the entrance to the center a smooth transition for parents and children,” director Jessica Hughes said. “The front lot at the child care center sees a variety of traffic on any given weekday between buses picking up and dropping off elementary students, trucks delivering food for meals and parents dropping off and picking up children.”
